GBA Major Atom Girls Win Silver at 2018 EOBA Championships!

The Goulbourn Major Atom Girls brought home a silver medal from the EOBA championships this past weekend! The team went undefeated during pool play and met the Brockville Blazers in the finals.
The Hornets had Brockville's number all season but Brockville was plagued with injuries throughout the year. The Hornets led the game from tip-off however Brockville took the lead in the final frame with some strong rebounding. The defensive nail-biter ended in a low scoring 31-30 game with the Hornets winning the silver medal!
The championship games were a great experience for our young ladies as they continue to learn how to battle in close games.
