Shooting Fundamentals Clinic

This season West Ottawa Basketball will continue its monthly skills development clinics that will be open to our players in both our recreation and competitive programs.

Our first clinic will be a Shooting Fundamentals Clinic. The clinic is open to any West Ottawa players between 8-18 years old who are registered for the 2025-26 season. 

This clinic is an opportunity for players to sharpen their shooting fundamentals, including their release point, finish, guide hand, and footprint. We will give players practical tips and drills to work on over the course of the season.

The clinic will be lead by Mark Emond. Mark is West Ottawa’s VP of Competitive, Coach and Player Development, the Head Coach of our Women’s U19 AAA Team, and the Head Coach of Ottawa’s Girls team at the last two Ontario Summer Games. Mark has worked closely over the past two years with professional shooting coach, BriAnna Garza. 

This is a great opportunity for a shooting tune-up for the remainder of the season!
