Goulbourn Hornets Major Bantam Girls Win GOLD at Provincial Championships!

 
 
The Goulbourn Hornets U14 Major Bantam Girls Team has brought the GOLD home from the Provincial Championships!
 
Friday April 7th took the Hornets to Brampton where they played in the Ontario Basketball Provincial Cup Tournament. Their first game against Collingwood, a 28-17 win started the weekend on the right foot and set the pace for the tournament!
 
With a game on Saturday against Toronto’s Motion Sports, the Hornets winning 46-30 and the second game versus the Scarborough Blues, Goulbourn winning again 44-21, their record was flawless!
 
The final game, against Cornwall for a gold medal, was not without excitement and thrills! With never a lead more than 10 points, the Goulbourn Hornets continued to play their A-Game, the one coaches Jon and Clare have coached throughout the season…. Be smart, be fast and score those baskets!
