GBA Minor Bantam Girls Are Golden!

Our Minor Midget Girls Team win GOLD at the 2019 EOBA Championships!
The Goulburn Minor Bantam Girls team went undefeated this weekend to win gold at the EOBA Major Bantam Girls Div 4 tournament. The girls used unselfish team play and hard work to defeat 3 Major Bantam teams in the process.
The ladies started the tournament with strong play against the equally talented Ottawa Shooting Stars Minor team.
They sealed their trip to the finals with a last second buzzer beater against the Cornwall Lions. In the finals they matched up against the Renfrew Riverdogs and played with a lead the entire game. Winning the championship game 39-31.
The team took the hosting opportunity to run a canteen and make a $400 donation to the McDonald family's GoFundMe initiative for their daughter Julia.
The girls are looking forward to the provincials in 2 weeks.
