BriAnna Garza Camp

BRIANNA GARZA is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Shooters Shoot. BriAnna is a former NCAA player and current shooting coach for NBA, WNBA, NCAA and youth players. The Shooters Shoot training model was inspired by BriAnna’s passion for coaching both the science and the mindset of shooting.
 
The Shooters Shoot Coach Clinic begins with a one day session for coaches only, July 8, 2024. BriAnna will share her insights on coaching shooting across the four elements that are included in the Immersive Experience for athletes—body, mind, power, and accuracy. This day will prepare coaches for aiding BriAnna as an instructor for the players' camp.

Shooters Shoot Camp, is a four-day immersive experience exclusively for players between the ages of 12 to 18 years old, taking place from July 9-12, 2024. This is the deepest shooting training available today in North America.

We are very fortunate to be bringing BriAnna Garza, one of the most sought after shooting coaches in the world today, to Ottawa this coming summer to run a full week Shooters Shoot Immersive Experience for both players and coaches. This is the deepest shooting training available today in North America.
The camp will start on Monday July 8th, 2024 with a full-day clinic for coaches only. Participating coaches will then have the opportunity to assist BriAnna in delivering instruction to our players in the four day camp from July 9-12, 2024.
BriAnna conducts Shooter Shoot Immersive Experiences around the world. She is a former NCAA player and current shooting coach for NBA, WNBA, NCAA, and youth players. The Shooters Shoot training model was inspired by BriAnna’s passion for coaching both the science and the mindset of shooting.
On Monday July 8th, BriAnna will lead coaches through shooting insights, techniques, and skills and drills that comprise the four core elements of her teaching methodology—body, mind, accuracy, and power. Coaches will learn both on the court and in the classroom (with film sessions).
BriAnna will teach coaches how to help their players develop the following elements in their shooting: 
  • Rhythm and body awareness
  • High volume shooting to train athletes to use best practices when fatigued
  • Shooting off the catch to enhance the ability to be a space creator
  • Contested shooting, including in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 games
  • Balance
  • Shooting off the dribble (screen setups, midrange variability/fades, range work, change of direction, pull-up jumpers)
  • Position-specific shots
  • Advanced catch footwork (transition 3s, exit cuts, off ball screens)
  • Reading closeouts
  • Pressure shooting through individual and team competitions

The camp will be led by BriAnna Garza, one of the most highly regarded shooting coaches in the world today. BriAnna conducts Shooter Shoot Immersive Experiences around the world. She is a former NCAA player and current shooting coach for NBA, WNBA, NCAA, and youth players. The Shooters Shoot training model was inspired by BriAnna’s passion for coaching both the science and the mindset of shooting.
Throughout the four days, BriAnna will lead athletes through shooting insights, techniques, and training that comprise the four core elements of her teaching methodology—body, mind, accuracy, and power. Players will learn both on the court and in the classroom (with film sessions).
During the four days, BriAnna will host a family session for athletes and parents addressing topics such as how to stand out for players interested in playing at a post-secondary level, the importance of mentorship, feedback techniques for parents, and understanding college opportunities in the US.
The experience doesn’t end after four days. Participating athletes will be part of the Shooters Shoot mentorship program, with ongoing access to a variety of online resources and online sessions with mentors that include a licensed therapist, a life coach, a current NCAA college player, and a former professional player.
