3rd ANNUAL HOOPS 4 HOPE 3on3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

TEAM REGISTRATION FEE IS $140.00

**OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULES**
Each team will consist of minimum 3 players. Teams can have an optional spare player. There is a guarantee of a minimum of three games per team. Top four teams in each division advance to the playoff sudden elimination round. Games will be refereed and played on a half court. Players must be on court 5 minutes prior to start of game or game will be declared a forfeit. Coin toss for first possession. Change possession after made basket. Games are to 11 points or a 20 minute limit. Win by 2, first to 15. 1 point is awarded per basket. No three point shots in round robin play. Playoffs will include 3 point shots that will be worth 2 points. Foul results in loss of possession. Shooting fouls will result in one free throw for one point. Ball must be taken out to top of key on every change of possession. Alternate possession on jump balls. If offensive team shoots an ‘air ball’ (i.e. the shot does not touch the rim), the defensive team can rebound that shot and try to score without having to bring the ball back to top of key. Clock will run continuously and substitutions can only be made on a dead ball situation. No timeouts are allowed except for injuries. Respect the referees. All referee calls/decisions are FINAL. Players, parents and spectators can be ejected from tournament for any unsportsmanlike conduct. Team contacts will be contacted with their game schedule by email prior to the tournament.
